Uncaptured's Yes I Am Free, making just his second lifetime start in the $75,000 Texas Glitter S., won the five-furlong turf sprint by a half-length on Saturday afternoon at Gulfstream Park.

The 3-year-old colt, who had won his debut over the same course and distance on Jan. 17, has now banked $75,340 for owner Gary Barber and trainer Mark Casse.

After breaking his maiden in front-running style, Yes I Am Free came out of the gate on top once again, but settled back a few lengths when a couple of foes were intent on getting the lead. Expertly guided by Irad Ortiz, Jr., Yes I Am Free swung three-wide coming into the stretch, reeled in Gladiator King, then held off a fast-charging Jackson to secure the win in :56.21 on the firm turf. 

Bred by Sherry Mansfield and Kenneth Davis, Yes I Am Free is the fourth stakes winner for Uncaptured, who was Florida's leading First-Crop Sire of 2018 and is atop the Sunshine State's Second-Crop list this year.
