A filly by leading Florida sire Uncaptured brought a top bid of $260,000 during Tuesday's opening session of the March 12-13 OBS 2-year-olds in Training sale.

Consigned by S V G Thoroughbreds as hip No. 255, the filly was purchased by Team Casse, agent for what was a gaudy 43 times the Ocala Stud's stallion's fee.

The Florida's bred bay had worked an eighth-mile in a bullet :09 4/5 seconds during the Under Tack show, assuredly adding to her allure. She is the first foal out of the Put It Back mare Jim's Lonesa, who is a half-sister to a trio of stakes winners. 

Wednesday's closing session of the auction will feature eight more lots by Uncaptured, who is currently Florida's leading Second-Crop sire.
