Uncaptured colts on a roll at Gulfstream Park
Sunday, January 20, 2019
Uncaptured, Florida's leading Freshman Sire of 2018, has started off hot in 2019 with a trio of maiden colt winners at the tough winter Gulfstream Park meet.

Most recently, Justcallmenorman rallied furiously in the stretch to a win a 7 1/2-furlong maiden special weight turf affair for 3-year-olds. The dark bay came from seventh with less than a quarter-mile to run to win by three-quarters of a length in an eye-catching performance.

Bred by Mark and Tina Casse, Justcallmenorman is owned by Quintessential Racing. His stakes-winning dam Howaboutrightnow has produced six foals, all winners, and is a sister to Grade 1 winner Get Noticed and multiple stakes winner R Obsession.

Two days prior, Yes I Am Free broke his maiden in his debut by an identical margin at five furlongs over the same turf course after dueling for the lead for the entire trip. Trained by Mark Casse for Gary Barber, Yes I Am Free was bred in Florida by Sherry Mansfield and Ken Davis.

Kong Style rounded out the winners on Jan. 17, taking a six-furlong main track race by a neck after a spirited stretch duel. Kong Style was bred by Rustlewood Farm and owned by the Four Horsemen Racing Stable.
