Ceci Valentina uncorks big rally to take Juvenile Fillies Sprint S.
Sunday, November 10, 2019
Prospective's 2-year-old daughter Ceci Valentina rallied from far back to score by about three lengths in Saturday's $75,000 Juvenile Fillies Sprint S. at Gulfstream Park, her second stakes win in just five starts.

The Amalio Ruiz-Lonzano homebred also placed in the $400,000 My Dear Girl S. and has now earned $251,855. The dark bay is the leading earner this year for her sire, whose runners are scoring at a very impressive 67% winners from starters.

Ceci Valentina was well off the lead for the first three furlongs before commencing her run around the turn. She lost momentum when Ms Big Spring carried her very wide coming into the stretch, but she re-rallied and flew past Mandamus in the final sixteenth to win going away.

Ceci Valentina is out of Fort Carillon and is a half-sister to stakes-placed Miss Amalita.
