Win Win Win colt storms to victory in Carry Back S.
Saturday, July 5, 2025

Mati Gol flew through the sloppy Gulfstream Park stretch to win the $75,000 Carry Back S. on Independence Day to give the 3-year-old Win Win Win colt his first stakes victory.

The bay colt had been third in the grassy Roar S. on May 17, his most recent start prior to Friday’s seven-furlong contest.

Here Comes Francis opened up a big lead almost immediately, with Mati Gol some six lengths off the leader after a very quick opening quarter in :21.80. The pacesetter flew through a half-mile in :43.99, when the blistering fractions began to take their toll. Mati Gol rallied up the inside on the turn, then swung off the rail after straightening for home. He rolled past Here Comes Francis in upper stretch, then came home an easy 3 ½-length winner in 1:23.25 on the sloppy racetrack.

With the win, Mati Gol is 2-1-2 in six starts and has earned $93,240 for The Tiny Equestrian Group LLC. Mati Gol was bred in Florida by Jorge Wagner.

Win Win Win is Florida’s leading cumulative Second-Crop sire across the board, with nearly $1 million in progeny earnings, three stakes horses and 20 individual winners to date in 2025.
