The Big Beast’s speedy 3-year-old filly Livingmybestlife earned her second consecutive stakes win in the $100,000 Seashell S. Nov. 3 at Del Mar, defeating Moonlight d’Oro in front-running style.

Livingmybestlife hustled right out of the gate under Juan Hernandez and cleared off by two lengths as the field rounded the first turn. She clocked a solid half-mile in :46.38 while maintaining her advantage. Set down for the drive, she held off the runner-up comfortably to win by 1 ½-lengths in 1:36.53 for the mile on the fast main track.

Winner of Los Alamitos’ Lucky Spell S. on Sept. 24, Livingmybestlife is now 4-2-0 in seven starts and has earned $209,970 for Hronis Racing LLC.

Bred by Alex and JoAnn Lieblong, Livingmybestlife is the first foal out of Wall Street Lady and hails from the family of Grade 1 winner Well Chosen and graded stakes winner and sire In Contention.

The Big Beast has six stakes horses in 2021, with progeny earnings topping $1.8 million. He will be represented by his biggest and best crop to date with his 2-year-olds of 2022.
