An Ocala Stud consigned and bred filly brought $475,000 during day 2 of the March 13-14 OBS 2-year-old sale, the fourth-highest price of the sale. The filly was bought by Vitaminwater founder Mike Repole.

The filly, hip No. 188 by Street Sense, is a half sister to 2008 Schuylerville S. (G2) winner Jardin, by Ocala Stud's champion stallion Montbrook, who finished second in the Spinaway S. (G1). She also is a half sister to 2005 Flash S. (G3) winner Beacon Shine, also by Montbrook. Their dam, Unlimited Pleasure, finished second in the 2000 Cottage Flower S. at Calder Race Course.

“He comes from a great family. I think Ocala Stud does a really good job with their horses," said Repole. "Some consignors push horses a little more than they should. I’m a little bit more comfortable with Ocala Stud, where you can just see they look really good and they have potential.”

For the entire sale, Ocala Stud sold all six of their horses who went through the ring for a gross total of $1,545,000 and an average of $257,500.
