Awesome of Course's 2-year-old filly ran her record to two-for-two with a victory in the $75,000 Kokiak Island S. June 30 at Gulfstream Park. The Jacks or Better Farm homebred scored a career-opening maiden win over the same track on April 12.

Finding his stride about 100 yards into the 5 1/2-furlong affair, Positively Awesome moved from the inside to go around Man With a Plan in the middle of the turn, then drew off with powerful strides in the stretch to win by nearly three lengths in 1:04.95 on the fast main track.

The winner has now earned $89.035. Out of Sexy Stockings, she is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Jackson Bend and two-time stakes winner Grande Shores.
