Conflation got a stern test in the her maiden win Sunday at Woodbine, but ultimately prevailed by a neck in the six-furlong contest that saw four horses within a length of each other on the wire.

The 2-year-old filly is Overdriven's sixth winner this year. The Ocala Stud stallion leads all freshman Florida sires by both earnings and winners.

Conflation tracked eventual third-place finisher Big Brown Beauty for nearly all of the six furlongs before taking over the top spot in mid-stretch. Stella Brew came on the scene late to nab the second spot, but could not get to Conflation.

The winner is owned by her breeder May Biamonte. The Ontario-bred filly is the first foal out of Sports Buff, whose half-sister Jenna's Wabbit banked over a half-million dollars and won five stakes.
