J. Michael O'Farrell Jr.'s Ocala Stud announced stud fees for its 2013 roster of stallions, which is headlined by four-time Florida champion sire, Montbrook, along with Florida's leading freshman sire of 2011 and current leading second-crop sire of 2012, High Cotton.
High Cotton and Adios Charlie are the only two among the six Ocala Stud stallions with a change of fee for 2013. High Cotton, Dixie Union's leading son at stud, will move to $7,500 stands and nurses, while Adios Charlie, a Grade 2-winning son of Indian Charlie, will stand his second season for a slightly reduced fee of $3,000.
