Shadowbdancing, a 4-year-old colt by Leading Florida Sire Montbrook, earned a 100 Beyer Speed Figure in winning the $52,000 Bonasera S. on April 11th at Hawthorne.

It was the first stakes triumph of the season for Shadowbdancing, who won the Prairie Meadows Derby and Prairie Mile S. last year at three. He went wire-to-wire to stop the clock in 1:44.24 for 1 1/16 miles over a fast track.

Out of the Deputy Minister mare Deputy’s Mistress, Shadowbdancing was bred by Ocala Stud and is a $200,000 Ocala Stud sales graduate as a 2-year-old at OBS. Trained by Terrel Gore, the colt won for the fifth time in 14 starts and moved his earnings to $173,370 for owners RNB Racing LLC.
