Adios Charlie got his fourth stakes winner of the year on May 31st when Lets Go Koko led at every point of call in the $75,000 Powder Break S. at Gulfstream Park.
The victory was the first stakes win for the 4-year-old filly, who won a pair of allowance races in her last three starts prior to Saturday.
Lets Go Koko got away super-fast from post four and had a two-length lead going into the first turn. She settled nicely and continued to maintain a similar advantage down the backstretch and around the final bend. Still finding more through the stretch, Lets Go Koko fended off the late charge of Dancing N Dixie to win by a half-length in 1:33.51 for the mile on the firm turf.
Owned and bred by Flying Finish Farm, Lets Go Koko is now 8-4-4 in 22 starts and has earned $257,360.
