Kantharos into top 5 with 14 first-year winners
Saturday, November 15, 2014
Kantharos, Florida’s runaway Freshman sire of 2014, moved into the top 5 on the General Sire list with 14 total winners following a pair of maiden winners on Saturday.

Kantharos has been particularly hot in November, with five winners in the past seven days, led by $100,000 Juvenile Sprint S. winner Mr. Jordan.

Big Yum got Saturday started off with a one-length win in a one mile turf affair for 2-year-olds colts at Gulfstream Park. Big Yum was bred in Florida by Melissa Anthony, Mr. and Mrs. David Nowicki, and The Boys.

Later in the day at Aqueduct, Whateveryouwant scored a game neck victory after leading the entire way in a six furlong contest. Whateveryouwant is out of the stakes-winning mare Reeyre, who has a pair of stakes-winning siblings in Regal Eyre and Late Nite Martini.
