Friday, March 5, 2021
Facing allowance company after running second in her stakes debut last month, Eileen Alexandra was a determined half-length allowance winner on March 5 at Fair Grounds.

The 3-year-old daughter of Jess's Dream has won two of her last three starts and has now won $87,756 for owner/breeder Bob Mahoney.

The chestnut filly dueled head to head the entire 1 mile and 70 yard trip with Sincerity. The latter had a narrow lead for most of the trip, until the final furlong, when Eileen Alexandra willed her way to the front to get the win.

Jess's Dream is the leading Second-Crop sire in Florida and is in the top 10 on the Sunshine State's General sire list. Among his winners this year is Chess's Dream, who took the Kitten's Joy S. (G3) at  Gulfstream Park.
