Florida Fabulous' maiden special weight win Feb. 16 at Gulfstream Park left her foes reeling in her wake as the 3-year-old daughter of High Cotton strolled to a 10 3/4-length victory without her rider ever asking her to extend herself.

The e Five Racing Thoroughbreds filly was named a TDN Rising Star following the win in the one turn, one-mile contest. 

Florida Fabulous is a half-sister to a trio of stakes winners, including Gulfstream Park H. (G2) winner Discreet Dancer and Swale S. (G2) hero Travelin Man.

Bred by Ocala Stud, Florida Fabulous sold for $400,000 at the 2016 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds.

High Cotton, who was Florida's leading 2-year-old sire of 2016, already has four stakes horses this year.
