Girvin's first yearling to sell at Tuesday's Fasig-Tipton July sale in Kentucky was among the top juveniles early in the auction, bringing a top bid of $200,000.

The winning bidder was BSW/CROW for the bay colt, hip No. 163 consigned by Brereton C. Jones/Airdrie Stud agent.

Hailing from the first crop of Grade 1 Haskell Inv. Winner, the Kentucky-bred is out of the graded stakes winner Gold Edge. Her first four foals to race are all winners, including a 2-year-old of 2021.

Standing for a fee of $6,000, Girvin has been among the most popular stallions in Florida, breeding more than 300 mares in his first two seasons at stud.
