A colt by Adios Charlie zipped through his 1/8-mile breeze in :09 3/5 seconds during Wednesday’s Under Tack show for the upcoming March 15-16 OBS Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training sale.

The time was the fastest of approximately 200 horses to breeze Wednesday.

The fleet dark bay colt is consigned by Wavertree Stables and cataloged as hip No. 322. The Florida-bred is out of the Valid Wager mare The Church Lady and is a half-brother to stakes winner Sheyenne Girl and track record-setter Codio.

With a limited number of runners in his first crop in 2015, Adios Charlie nevertheless had nearly 50% winners from starters and was in the top 10 on the Florida Freshman Sire list. He was one of Florida’s most popular stallions in the shed last year, breeding 128 mares.
