Perfect Kay strolled to a two-length win in her racing debut Friday afternoon at Gulfstream Park, with the 2-year-old daughter of Kantharos covering the five furlongs on the fast main oval in a solid 59 seconds flat.

The gray/roan filly was bred in Florida by Stanley Moles and Starr Racing LLC and is trained by David Fawkes for Stonestreet Stables.

Perfect Kay's dam, Perfect Maria, is a sister to a trio of stakes winners. Perfect Kay went through the auction ring at the 2016 OBS Spring 2-year-old sale in April, bringing a winning bid of $115,000.

As he has been the past two years, Kantharos leads his generation on the Florida Sire list, topping all Third-Crop sires with 27 winners and $1,388,783 in progeny earnings to date.
