Adios Charlie's top-class 2-year-old colt Dugout turned in a very impressive performance in Saturday's $200,000 New York Breeders' Futurity Saturday at Finger Lakes, scampering to a three-length win in a very solid 1:10.66 for the six furlongs (VIDEO).

The 2-year-old gray colt, owned by Richard Ravin, Patricia's Hop LLC and Larry Rivelli, has now won all three of his starts, including the $200,000 Funny Cide S. last month at Saratoga, and has earned $271,423.

Dugout, in the outside post in the field of six, was full of run from the break, immediately going to the front as he zipped through the first quarter-mile in :22.10. Jose Valdivia kept the colt to task, but he never faced a serious threat the rest of the way to keep his record intact.

Bred by Ravin and Rivelli (the latter also his trainer), Dugout is out of Rooney Doodle and is a full brother to the 3-year-old filly Jean Elizabeth, winner of this year's Pretty Jenny S.
