The Big Beast red-hot with two more winners
Monday, January 20, 2020
The Big Beast recorded four winners in four days over the long holiday weekend and now has six Second-Crop winners in the first three weeks of the year.

Following a pair of allowance winners on Friday and Saturday, the Ocala Stud stallion tallied maiden winners on Jan. 19 and 20 at Fair Grounds and Gulfstream Park, respectively.

Unthrottled, who was bred by Ocala Stud, won his 2020 debut on Sunday in a 1 1/8-mile maiden special weight turf contest for 3-year-olds, coming from well off the pace to win by a half-length.

The dark bay is owned by Calumet Farm and is out of the prolific producer Unlimited Pleasure, the dam of eight winners and three graded stakes winners: Beacon Shine, Jardin and Unlimited Budget.

Beast of Wildwood was an impressive five-length maiden winner Monday at Gulfstream Park, going one mile on the main track. She was bred by Eico Ventures and Bobby Jones Equine, LLC and is owned by John Grossi's Racing Group. She is the first foal out of Ahaya, an unraced half-sister to Grade 1 winner and millionaire Rail Trip.
