First-Crop sire The Big Beast OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training results were topped during Wednesday's session when a filly by the Ocala Stud stallion sold for $205,000.

Consigned by Ocala Stud as well, hip No. 486 went to Gary Contessa, agent.

The chestnut filly is out of the top-class mare Potluck Dinner, who has had 10 starters, all winners, including the millionaire Gourmet Dinner and stakes winner Gaston A. Potluck Dinner is a sister to a pair of stakes winners as well as the dam of champion female sprinter Musical Romance and Grade 1 winner Rigoletta.

Going into Wednesday's OBS session, The Big Beast's 2-year-olds had averaged a healthy $164,917 at auction this year, which is over 27 times his advertised stud fee.
