The Big Beast chalks up two allowance winners in 2020 debuts

Papparoxy and Bad Little Beast both won their first starts of the year in 3-year-old allowance races in recent days, starting the year on a high note for The Big Beast, who finished last year as Florida's second-ranked First-Crop Sire by winners and earning and number one by yearling sales average.

Papparoxy, who is now undefeated in two start, got her second win Jan. 17 at Charles Town, where she also won her debut. The gray/roan filly is owned by Kozak Racing LLC and was bred by Kelly Warhurst. 

Bad Little Beast, who had been off since September, was a two-length winner going six furlongs at Gulfstream Park. The 3-year-old is owned by Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables LLC, David Simon and Bethlehem Stables LLC. He was making his first start for trainer Jason Servis, who conditions multiple Grade 1 winner Maximum Security.
