One day after Awesome Strong became Awesome Slew’s first stakes winner in Saturday's Dr. Fager S., the Ocala Stud stallion scored another maiden winner at Gulfstream Park when Awesome Pic scored a 4 ¾-length maiden win.

The 2-year-old filly, who is her sire’s fourth First-Crop winner, came from off the pace with a very swift move around the turn, going from sixth to first at the top of the lane. She continued to pour it on from there, coming home a decisive winner in the 5 ½-furlong contest.

Awesome Pic is owned by her breeder Richard George, along with Robert G. Smith.

Millionaire Awesome Slew, a son of Awesome Again, won stakes from seven furlongs to 1 1/16-miles. He stood the 2022 season for $4,000 S&N.
