The Big Beast's latest winner Papparoxy turned in a very impressive debut, breaking her maiden by nearly six lengths on Dec. 18 to become the 16th First-Crop winner for her sire.

Though the gray filly came out of the gate a step slow, she moved up quickly and had the lead after a quarter mile. On cruise-control the rest of the way, she hit the wire officially 5 3/4-lengths to the good (VIDEO).

The winner is owned by Kozak Racing LLC and was bred in Florida by Kelly Warhurst. Papparoxy's dam Legacy's Silver has produced six other winners, including stakes winner Jilleah.

Among The Big Beast's winners this year is Inspiressa, who subsequently placed in the Del Mar Debutante (G1). The Big Beast bred 113 mares this past season, his largest crop to date. He will stand in 2020 for $6,000, live foal stands and nurses.
