Awesome Slew, the multiple graded stakes winner whose first foals are yearlings of 2021, had a filly hammer for $100,000 Wednesday at the OBS October Yearling sale.

Consigned by Camelot Acres Racing and Sales, agent and cataloged as hip No. 406, the bay filly went to RiceHorse, agent.

The Florida-bred filly is out of the stakes-winning daughter of Songandaprayer Additional Prayer. She is also the dam of Hear My Prayer, a two-time stakes-winner by The Big Beast.

Awesome Slew defeated and competed with the best of his generation over three seasons. At three, he won the 1 1/16-mile Smarty Jones S. (G3) and at four won the seven-furlong Commonwealth S. (G3) and placed in both the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) and Forego S. (G1), and at five was second in the Carter H. (G1).

Awesome Slew stood the 2021 for $4,000 S&N.
