Another first-crop star by Uncaptured emerged on Wednesday at the Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream Sale of 2-year-olds, with Carlo Vaccarezza going to $280,000 to secure the filly.

Consigned by SBM Training and Sales and cataloged as hip No. 51, the chestnut filly is out of the Yankee Victor mare Surely Early and is from the same family as Lexington S. (G3) winner Sharp Impact and Grade 2 Illinois Derby winner Natural Selection.

With six 2-year-olds from his first crop to go through the sales ring to date, Uncaptured's juveniles have averaged $132,500, more than 22 times his stud fee.
