A Scat Daddy colt bred and consigned by Ocala Stud brought a winning bid of $950,000 from Charlotte Weber's Live Oak Plantation during the first day of the March 14-15 OBS Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale.

The colt, hip No. 295, brought the second-highest price paid during Tuesday's session, and also was the second-highest price ever realized for a 2-year-old sold by Ocala Stud. 

Bred in Florida, the Valentine's Day foal is out of the winning Gone West mare West Side Dancer, also the dam of Gulfstream Park H. (G2) winner and Grade 1-placed Discreet Dancer, Swale S. (G2) winner Travelin Man, and stakes winner Sweet N Discreet.
