Adios Charlie's super-consistent filly Jean Elizabeth won her first graded stakes on Saturday at Woodbine with a front-running score in the $125,000 Ontario Fashion S. (G3).
Jean Elizabeth now has four lifetime stakes wins and improved her record to 9-4-2 from 15 starts, with $350,203 in earnings.
Using her natural speed, Jean Elizabeth went right to the front in Saturday's 6 1/2-furlong contest. She led the field through a half-mile in :45.07 with a one-length lead. With plenty of energy left for the stretch run, she hit the wire three-quarters of a length in from of Special Relativity in 1:09.26 on the synthetic surface.
Bred in Illinois by owners Larry Rivelli and Richard Ravin, Jean Elizabeth is out of the Lit de Justice mare Rooney Doodle, who has also produced grade 3-placed What's Up Dude and stakes winner Dugout. The mare foaled a full brother to Jean Elizabeth Feb. 14.
