Adios Charlie's remarkable 4-year-old filly Jean Elizabeth closed out 2019 with a gallant victory in Gulfstream Park's $100,000 Abundantia S. on Saturday. The speedy gray has five stakes in a row and has propelled her sire to the top of the 2019 Florida General Sire list.

Adios Charlie tops the list by progeny earnings of over $3.7 million, repeat winners with 41, and black type wins with seven.

Jean Elizabeth, who counts the Ontario Fashion S. (G3) among her six stakes wins this year, pressed Girls Know Best through a half-mile in :44.39 before taking over the lead. She then held off a late charge by Escapade to win by a head in :57.43 for the five furlongs on a fast track.

“She's never been out of the money,” winning trainer and co-owner/breeder Larry Rivelli said. “She's just hitting her stride this year.”

Rivelli owns the filly with Richard Ravin and Patricia's Hope LLC. She has an outstanding record of 12-4-2 in 18 starts and has earned $473,388.
